About the Pastor

John Patterson was introduced to the Apostolic faith in 1988, and quickly embraced the Biblical truth of water baptism in Jesus Name and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. His new revelation of the Mighty God in Christ was readily received and John soon was called to preach this whole gospel to the whole world in 1995. In the ensuing years, he has preached throughout the country and has been faithful to assist other churches in various ministries. He has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Pastor, Bible Study Director, Outreach Evangelist, Global Mission’s Director and Assistant Pastor. He felt the call from God to pastor in North Platte in 2006, and responded with a resounding yes.

Pastor Patterson is a graduate of Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA) with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and is also is an Ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. Presently John, Sherri his wife (married 28 years), and their daughter, Kelsey, dedicate their time and energy to God’s Kingdom and to His service at Apostolic Worship Center.
